Dreams Really Do Come True

When we started asking the kids to share what they most looked forward to in Mozambique, the concept was birthed: the beach!

It worked it’s way into every pulpit-sharing opportunity from the kids as we made our exit out of the country. It danced through prayer requests from one consistent four year old. It swirled among conversations, building in anticipation across State-to-State Skype calls. It was fixed in her long term memory. Mozambique offers the beach – and it is MUCH to be anticipated.

Well the other weekend we broke away from the city and headed straight out to the road’s end and the soft sand’s beginning.

And this little girl was in ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!

Oh the squeals, dear friends. Oh the utter delight. My, oh my! Dreams really do come true, friends… oh how beautifully joyful. =)

Oh yeah.. and the rest of us had a blast too. 😉

-Thank you, Lord, for such delightful fun away. =)

Have you ever thought that the all-sufficient Savior has promised those who walk in blind faith more than our minds can ever comprehend? That the only True Savior renews our minds, even when we feel most useless toward His Kingdom work? The Lord of all dares to touch our hearts, even as we stumble to find obedience. Oh how this soul wishes we Christians would embrace His Truth! And that the world would be different because of obedient hearts. Lord, change me. Lord, change us. All for Your glory. ---------- I am a Jesus-follower, a Homemaker, a Wife of the best man EVER, a Mom of 4 wonderful girls, a missionary in Africa, a Friend, an Encourager, a Seeker of integrity who is unsatisfied with a mediocre walk in Christ, and Blessed beyond any words that I could ever express. Thanks for being interested in my little slice of the world.

  1. That looked like another great day. The expression on Hannah is awesome! Thrilled is an understatement. I’m so glad in the midst of flea wars and bazillion degrees and do-we-have-enough-water-todays God gives you a beach day.
